This year for the BBC Foundation Annual Appeal, we asked our BBC Community to share our vision of ensuring each and every boy who walks through our gates is prepared for the world in which he’ll live. We asked our community to get to know Edward, one of our rural boys supported by a BBC Bush Kids Bursary.
And they did.
This remarkable BBC community effort from Old Boys, current and past parents, staff and friends of the College raised $50,590 for the Bush Kids Bursary.
These funds will go a long way to helping another bush kid learn and live at BBC. Beyond that, the difference a bursary makes to the lives of our boys and to their families cannot be measured. They will be forever grateful and that is an achievement to be proud of.
This year, thanks to the generosity of our community, more rural boys can access and enjoy all that a BBC education has to offer.
On behalf of the BBC Foundation, our College and our boys, I’d like to express our gratitude and appreciation for our generous community that really knows how to make a difference.
