Our heartfelt thank you for giving the gift of education by contributing to our Annual Appeal

Donations from our loyal BBC community have resulted in a wonderful response with over $185,000 donated to our Annual Appeal.

Gifts to this year’s appeal will help provide opportunities for talented boys to accomplish educational ambitions living in a home away from home. Money raised will go towards fulfilling existing bursary commitments and also to open opportunities for further bursaries.

Gifts from old boys, current and past parents, staff and friends of the College will go a long way to unlocking the potential of our bursary boys and help create and support a more diverse student body.

The difference a bursary makes to the lives of our boys and to their families is profound. They will be forever grateful and that is an achievement of which we as a community can be very proud.

On behalf of our College, the BBC Foundation and our boys, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to you and our generous College community for making a real difference.

Yours sincerely

Paul Brown

How will the College use my gift?

Your gift will have an immediate impact for our students by fulfilling existing bursary commitments and also creating opportunities for further bursaries.

In 2018, our Annual Appeal focused on providing Bursaries through our Indigenous Fund, Bush Kids Bursary and the Old Collegian’s Bursary.

Where did our donors make an impact?

Bush Kids Bursary

This Bursary supports rural and remote boys as they live and learn at BBC. The support for this Bursary will ensure another boy will attend the College in 2019.

Indigenous Fund

This Bursary supports Indigenous boys as they live and learn at BBC, as well as providing cultural support through educational experiences.

Old Collegian’s Bursary

This Bursary was introduced by the OCA and will continue to support students of the College 2019.

Greatest Need

These donations will assist the College to fulfil our current and ongoing Bursary commitments.
